UNITED STATES – Egg prices in the U.S. have cracked another record, hitting $6.23 a dozen despite President Trump’s claims they were on their way down.

That’s the highest ever, and even though the Bird Flu has not hit egg farms lately, wholesale prices actually dropped in March.

Experts say grocery stores may not have passed those savings on just yet, while Easter demand is keeping prices high.

Trump praised his AG team for “lots of eggs” , but industry insiders say relief could take time especially with flocks still rebuilding after massive Bird Flu losses earlier this year.
