EV Motors: A Weekend of Tennis, Innovation and Electrifying Momentum

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – EV Motors held an open mixed doubles tennis tournament & auto showcase over the weekend at Baha Mar’s John McEnroe Tennis Center. The tournament saw 16 teams made up of some of our best players hit the court to see who was the best.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Derron Donaldson, Director of Rackets for Baha Mar resort, oversaw the proceedings at the inaugural EV Motors open at the John Mcenroe Tennis Center. The event, which was free to the public, started Saturday afternoon, wrapping up on Sunday.

The tournament is a highly competitive mixed-doubles event that saw 16 teams made up of some of our best players hit the court to see who was the best.

Title sponsor, EV Motors, had a full-fledged auto showcase on hand as well. They wanted to give a boost to the sporting community.

It’s preseason in the association and Klay Thompson dropped 14 points, including making 4 of 7 shots from long range, in only 21 minutes, but his Dallas Mavericks lost 112-97 to the Charlotte Hornets.

The 2025 No.1 overall pick, Cooper Flagg, had 11 for the Mavs.

Bahamas national team player Sammy Hunter and his team BC Vienna played an Adriatic League matchup against the Spartak Office Shoes, a Serbian squad, – they lost 79-88.

Hunter had 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Turning to France, Hunter’s teammate Dominick Bridgewater scored 12 points and dished out 5 assists to help FOS Provence get an 82-69 win over the Berk Rang Du Flyers.
