Father Charged with Incest

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 39-year-old man is behind bars after being accused of sexually abusing his own daughter. 

The man’s name has been withheld to protect his daughter’s identity.

Prosecutors say the man molested his 15-year-old daughter in August 2021. He allegedly had sex with his now 17-year-old daughter on June 27.

The resident of New Providence was not required to enter pleas to charges of incest when he stood before Magistrate Shaka Serville.

Bail was denied and he is due back in court in November to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
