NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of having sex with an underage girl has been denied bail.
Prosecutors say 18-year-old Harry Charite had unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl during April 2023.
Charite didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain.
He returns to court on August 17 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
