NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man was gunned down early Friday morning  while getting water from the pump in his neighborhood the country’s latest homicide victim, a father to a ten-year-old boy.

Police alerted to Patton and West Streets shortly after investigating another shooting incident in Nassau Village.  

It’s a nightmare, turned reality, for this woman who chose to remain anonymous – the father of their ten year old son shot dead through West Street in the bain town community just after midnight friday morning..

Press Lliaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Sheria King tells us what they’ve gathered so far. 

The mother of his child identifying him as 32 year-old Jimmy Laurneville also known as Yoshi.

She admits the deceased had his troubles in the past.

She says despite his shortcomings, he was a great father.

Police are appealing for any information on both of these matters.
