NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The FNM is once again calling for Works and Utilities Minister Alfred Sears to resign after the recently released fiscal strategy report revealed BPL has arrears of $150 million dollars.

Party Leader Michael Pintard is calling on the government to give a full accounting on the matter.

Back in October, Sears told parliament the government intends to make $10 million dollars in payments to Shell each month for nine months to satisfy BPL’s debt to its fuel supplier.

Pintard says the government isn’t too free with information.
