Former DEA Informant Pleads Guilty In Haiti Assassination

HAITI – Joseph Vincent, a former confidential informant for the US drug enforcement administration pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiring to assassinate Haitian President Jovenel Moïse back in 2021.

HAITI – Joseph Vincent, a former confidential informant for the US drug enforcement administration pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiring to assassinate Haitian President Jovenel Moïse back in 2021.

The dual Haitian-American citizen who lived in the U.S., is the fourth of 11 defendants in Miami to plead guilty.

He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Authorities say about 20 Colombians and several dual Haitian-American citizens participated in the plot.

His sentencing hearing is set for February 9, 2024.
