NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s a cry of self-reflection and frustration coming from Bishop H. Carl Rahming. He’s the Senior Pastor of the historic St. Paul’s Baptist church in Fox Hill, the community where yesterday’s triple homicide took place.

After spending more than 80 years living in that community, he’s become known as the Mayor of Fox Hill. He’s no stranger to the violence incidents that plague the east New Providence community.

But he finds yesterday’s triple murder shocking.Saying it’s a much different community than where he grew up.

He spoke with Our News just hours after the three men were shot to death by a gunman weilding a high-powered weapon.

Rahming says its feels like society is fighting an upward battle.

In addition to pastoring, Bishop Rahming works closely with the Fox Hill Urban Renewal Division.

He also says now is not the time to give up on the nation’s youth.
