GB Chamber President On GB Airport And Hotel

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As Grand Bahama’s economy tries to recover after the devastation of Hurricane Dorian, the island’s Chamber of Commerce President James Carey, spoke about ways to help boost the economy even further.

He also touched on the Grand Bahama International Airport and the sale of the Grand Lucayan Resort which he says is critical to the island’s success.

The government has announced that ground will be broken for the Grand Bahama International Airport In March. Carey says since that announcement, there’s not been much details provided on the project.

And as it relates to the Grand Lucayan Resort recently, the Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper revealed that there are interested buyers, the Grand Bahama Chamber president says he believes more information should be given to the public.
