GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Pioneer’s Way is set to come alive this New Year’s Day as Junkanoo groups on Grand Bahama are gearing up to put on an exciting show.
Public Relations Director for the National Junkanoo Corporation, Grand Bahama Branch, Jeffery Pinder, says this is a show you won’t want to miss.
Pinder says spectators can expect new elements this year taking the parade to another level.
Ticket sales are going well so far, and Pinder is urging everyone to secure their spots early.
The Junkanoo parade starts promptly at 6pm. He says all Grand Bahamians should come out and support this national show of Bahamian pride.
