GB Woman Arrested Over $1k Edibles Find

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Police arresting a woman after finding edibles in a South Bahamia home on Monday evening.

According to reports, officers went to a home on Woods Rodgers Drive in South Bahamia around 6pm when they saw a woman at a bedroom window on the second floor.

Police say the woman fled once she saw the officers. That’s when they breached the home’s front door where they found three other women inside.

Inside the home, they found a wooden chest that contained a green plastic bag.

Police reported that inside the bag were forty-two packages of edibles including, 26 trolli cherry bombers, 9 sour brite crawlers, four edibles gummy candies, and three trolli slurpee sour brite crawlers.

The suspected drugs have an estimated street value of $1,050.

A woman was arrested in connection with the incident.
