GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Officers out in full force to search for those who have been reported missing in Grand Bahama for the year. Assistant Commissioner of Police Shanta Knowles who’s responsible for the northern region says, it is their hope that this effort would encourage members of the public, family members in particular to get out and search for their relatives.

The latest missing person is 80-year-old Phillip “Big Mama” Stubbs. He was last seen on around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11th.

She says their main goal as an organization is to preserve life.

Now due to the amount of missing people in Grand Bahama, some have speculated on social media that there may be a human or organ trafficking ring.

ACP Knowles is asking the public to not create fear in the minds of others

And she’s urging family members to be more concerned about their relatives.
