NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas receives its seventh and largest financing from Global Environment Facility, a finance arm of the United Nations, to address issues such land degradation, food security and climate resilience challenges in The Bahamas.

Dr. Rhianna Neely, Director of the Department of Environmental Planning and Protection, who is also the GEF focal point in The Bahamas, explains what this means for the country.
