NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Free National Movement (FNM) candidate for Golden Isles, Brian Brown, rallied supporters Thursday night, reaffirming his commitment to the constituency and declaring that he “never left and never will.”

Brown energized the crowd gathered at the party’s Golden Isles headquarters, accusing the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) of trying to intimidate voters and destroy campaign signs, an act he claimed was a sign the governing party is “losing support.”

He reminded supporters that he has lived in the community for more than two decades and is running to “make life easier” and “bring relief to families tired of struggling.”

The rally also featured several FNM candidates and senior party officials, including Travis Robinson, Heather McDonald, Shanendon Cartwright, and Party Leader Michael Pintard, who all echoed the message that the PLP has failed to meaningfully develop the constituency. They pointed to recent remarks made by PLP candidate Darron Pickstock as evidence of unmet needs in the area.

Pintard told the crowd that if elected, Brown’s words would be backed by “quick action,” adding that the candidate already has several youth and entrepreneurial programs in motion.

The event, dubbed a “rally in the alley”, had a high-energy turnout, with supporters embracing Brown’s push toward the November by-election.
