NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s spring break and lots of airlines and cruise-lines are reporting an increase in numbers, including Bahamasair.

Prince Storr, deputy managing director of Bahamasair says so far spring break 2023 has been very encouraging.

Storr says as it stands right now, Bahamasair has seen more tourists than locals, but as Easter approaches he expects those dynamics will change.

Regatta and homecoming season will ramp up over the next few months across the country into the summer. The deputy managing director says more Bahamians are expected to travel during that time and Bahamasair’s scheduling committee is looking to add additional flights.
