Govt. Moving Forward With Gender Violence & Marijuana Laws

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Attorney General Ryan Pinder says a draft legislation on medicinal marijuana is expected to go before Cabinet in the next two to three weeks.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Attorney General Ryan Pinder says he has received legislation addressing gender-based violence.

It comes as former Attorney General Allyson Maynard-Gibson has said a bill was already drafted and urged lawmakers to pass it.

Pinder also telling reporters that draft legislation on medicinal marijuana is expected to go before Cabinet in the next two to three weeks.

The bill is currently at the Ministry of Health as the plan is to move forward with regularizing medicinal marijuana.
