NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Christian Council is still divided on the issue of marital rape and the much-discussed proposed amendments to legislation.

BCC President Bishop Delton Fernander says the way government’s approach to the Christian community could be better.

Bishop Fernander says he is against any female being raped or sexually assaulted, but adds the sanctity of marriage should still be protected.
