GUYANA – Guyana’s Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a firm reminder that every foreign national entering or leaving the country must follow proper immigration procedures.

In a statement released this week, the Ministry warned that anyone in Guyana without a valid entry stamp could face deportation, and those departing without clearance might be denied re-entry or even banned.

Officials say the measures seek to enforce immigration laws and safeguard national security.
