Haitians Mourn Victim Of Gang Massacre

HAITI – Relatives and friends gathered recently to bid a final farewell to Jean Louis Jeune, a victim of a recent gang massacre.

The massacre, carried out by the Gran Grif Gang on October 3, claimed the lives of at least 70 people, including infants, and forced over 6,000 residents to flee the agricultural town they lived in.

The U.N. Security Council recently extended the mandate of an international security force to support local police efforts in restoring order.
