NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamasair embarking on a new journey with a young Bahamian athlete all in an effort to take the airline’s brand to the international stage. 

The official signing took place at Bahamasair headquarters located on Blake Road earlier this week.

Bahamasair partnering with Xavion Johnson, a Bahamian judo wrestler. Johnson holds titles from the Pan American Games, the U.S. Open and has the number one place in the European Title for 2023.

The airline will provide the professional athlete with financial support. Additionally, Managing Director of Bahamasair Tracy Cooper says during fights Johnson will carry the Bahamasair brand.

Johnson says it all started for him at the age of 8 while his mother says she’s proud of her son.

Fox Hill Member of Parliament Fred Mitchell in attendance for the signing as Johnson is one of his constituents.
