Health Minister Promises More Health Facilities On The Islands

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Nine primary health care facilities are to be constructed throughout the Family Islands before the end of this Davis administration’s term in office. This according to Health and Wellness Minister, Dr. Michael Darville.

Two new state of the art hospitals are also on the agenda. One of them to be built on the island of Grand Bahama.

Dr. Darville says the structural plans for that facility will be unveiled shortly.

The feasibility study was completed late last year and is currently out for financing.
