Buddy Hield Helps Warriors Secure Win

Buddy Hield contributed 8 points off the bench as the Golden State Warriors defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 104–96. Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler, newly acquired by Golden State in this scenario, led the way with 24 points and 10 assists.

Cooper Flagg Makes NBA History

Rookie phenom Cooper Flagg reminded everyone why he was selected first overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. The 18-year-old exploded for 35 points, the highest single-game total of his young career. In doing so, he became the youngest player in NBA history to record a 35-point game, cementing his status as one of the league’s brightest rising stars.

Ole Miss Rolls to 7–0 Behind Coach Yo

In college hoops, Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin and the 13th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels continued their undefeated run at the Daytona Beach Invitational. Ole Miss cruised past George Mason 81–67 to improve to 7–0.

Christeen Iwuala delivered a dominant performance with 21 points and 10 rebounds, marking her second consecutive 20-point outing.
