INDIANAPOLIS, USA – Bahamian NBA star Buddy Hield’s hot shooting start to the season continued last night as his Indiana Pacers held on to beat the Miami Heat Friday night, 101-99.

INDIANAPOLIS, USA – Bahamian NBA star Buddy Hield’s hot shooting start to the season continued last night as his Indiana Pacers held on to beat the Miami Heat Friday night, 101-99.

Hield dropped 25 points on the Miami squad on 10-18 shooting. He continues to light it up from behind the arc going 5/12. He also pulled down 9 rebonds.

Tyrese Halliburton had 22 points and 9 assists and rookie sensation Ben Mathurin had 23 off the bench.

Tyler Herro led the heat with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists while Bam Adebayo contributed 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. 

Hield also hit a clutch shot in the 4th quarter to put the Pacers up 97–95.

The win brings the Pacers closer to .500 giving them a 4-5 record while the Heat’s record is 4-6. 

Hield and the Pacers’ next game will be in New Orleans against the Pelicans on Monday.
