NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Todd Isaacs Jr. is one of the co-founders and organizers of the Don’t Blink Home Run Derby.

This year’s edition of the event will run from December 6th through the 10th and will pit the best prospects from The Bahamas against players from around the world. Lucius Fox Jr. explains.

More than just a home run derby, Don’t Blink will partner with the MLB Players’ Association, the Players’ Alliance and Minority Baseball to hold a showcase scouting event and donate to youth baseball players in The Bahamas.

The week will culminate, as always, with a home run derby featuring the top prospects in all of baseball.

NBA
The Portland Trailblazers center has had an uneven first couple of games with his new team. But he beasted out Monday night, scoring 10 points and pulling down a ridiculous 23 rebounds along with a block and a steal to help them get the 99-91 win over the Toronto Raptors, their first of the season.

The Blazers are in the midst of a rebuild, having traded future hall of famer Damian Lillard and drafted 19-year-old point guard Scoot Henderson.

Ayton is in prime position to lead this youth movement, if he can bring the intensity consistently like he did Monday night.
