NASSAU, BAHAMAS -Prime Minister Philip Davis blames the Grand Bahama Port Authority for the state of Freeport, this as he called out the GBPA for neglecting the nation’s second city. 

Davis made the bold comments during the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce’s business dinner meeting.

Attorney Constance McDonald KC weighing in on the almost $400 million government says it’s owed to them by the port authority.

Attorney Terrance Gape, a resident of Grand Bahama for over fifty years says he was impressed with the prime minister’s speech.

Attorney Thomas Dean also giving his support to the prime minister.

President of the GB Chamber James Carey says he hoped that the pm would speak more definitively about the government’s plan for the future of the island.
