NASSAU, BAHAMAS – From Peru’s delicacies to other delicious dishes from around the world, I was spoiled for choice at the International Cultural Wine and Food Festival.

This year’s event was held at a new location and despite the change, coupled with humid conditions, hundreds came out, anticipating the same great vibes they’ve grown to love.

With aromas from the islands of the Caribbean to the continent of Africa, your taste buds tingled with anticipation.

My first stop was Lilly’s Kitchen.

Following my Peruvian experience, I was coerced to take a shot of locally made cream liquor from South Africa.

After I slowly gorged my cup of South African spirits, my final stop was to Ghana where I was charmed by the hospitality of Eugiana, Frimpong and Solomon.

A plate of jollof rice, was the perfect ending to my festival visit.
