PORT-OF-SPAIN, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO – The head of the Inter-American Development Bank Group is calling on Caribbean governors to think regionally to addressing some of the shared challenges.

Addressing the XI Annual Consultation with Governors in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Monday, President Ilan Goldfajn told leaders they need to think regionally and globally, while adapting to the old and new challenges, including natural disasters.

According to the IDB Group, this consultation aims to consolidate support for the Caribbean in preparation for its Annual Meeting in Panama on March 16 – 19.

The IDB Group is the leading source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean.
