NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Women from all walks of life coming together to lend their voices to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in The Bahamas.

That was also the theme of the kick-off workshop by the Inter-American Development Bank.

Inter-American Development Bank country Representative Daniele Carrera Marquis says in order for anything to be achieved, there must be a collective effort.

The workshop saw speakers from different arenas like U.S. Charge D’affaires Usha Pitts and keynote speaker former Attorney General Allyson Maynard Gibson.
