IHOP Officially opens

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The International House of Pancakes is now in The Bahamas and open for business and with it comes 100 new jobs.

Plans for the opening of the first International House of Pancakes in the Bahamas was announced in January of last year, and despite some setbacks IHop finally opened today at the Mall at Marathon.

Local franchisee, CEO of Caribbean Dining Limited, Burton Rodgers touched on the journey.

Over 600 Bahamians attended a job fair held in January hoping to get one of the first jobs for the new location.

The location is currently open from 7am to 12pm, but Rodgers promises the restaurant will eventually be open 24 hours.
