NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An Illinois man has been granted $40,000 cash bail after a crash on Sunday resulted in the death of his passenger.

Twenty-one-year-old James Darling faces a vehicular manslaughter charge concerning the October 20 death of James Palmer.

Darling was operating an ATV at Arawak Cay when the vehicle rolled on the side and crushed his front seat passenger, killing him.

Darling was placed on probation and ordered to bring a clean police record to court when he returns on March 20th.

Failing to do so, will result in a $500 fine or three months in prison.
