Independent Contractors Will Be Paid

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Davis administration is committed to paying more than 200 unpaid contract workers as soon as possible.

The commitment comes following three consecutive weeks of protests outside the prime minister’s office.

Bahamas Public Parks and Beaches Chairman Mckell Bonaby pledging during a press conference late this afternoon the process will start later this month.

Bonaby’s comments coming days after those unpaid contract workers protested outside OPM for the third straight week.
