ISRAEL – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday (May 27) an air strike in the area of Rafah in Southern Gaza that killed dozens of Palestinians was not intended to cause civilian casualties and would be investigated.

Netanyahu has since promised an investigation while reiterating his commitment to bring back all Israeli hostages taken by Hamas on October 7th.

According to Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli attacks have killed at least 36,000 Palestinians in the Hamas-Ruled enclave.
