NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Jamaican man is facing multiple fraud charges after allegedly obtaining a Bahamian passport using forged documents.

Prosecutors allege Bryan Brooks applied for the passport in 2024 using a fake immigration certificate of registration, which he later acquired through fraudulent means.

He is also accused of presenting the passport to immigration officials at the airport on five occasions that same year.

Brooks denied all charges when he appeared before senior magistrate Kendra Kelly-Burrows, including possession and uttering of false documents, possession of a false document, and fraud by false pretenses.
