NEW YORK, U.S.A. – New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm and Atlanta Braves first base coach Antoan Richardson collided when their teams met up last night in New York City.

The Yankees got the better of the matchup, coming out 3-2 over The Braves.

Jazz is mired in a slump, and it showed last night; he went 0-3 with two strikeouts.

Cam Riley hit a home run in the 8th, and Matt Olson hit one in the 9th to deliver The Braves’ only scores to seemingly put The Braves in position to win.

But The Yankees had other plans. They staged a furious rally in the 9th inning, punctuated by a Ryan McMahon sac fly to score Luis Garcia for the walk-off win.

And down in the minors, BJ Murray went 1-3 with a couple of walks, a single, and he scored a run to help his AAA Iowa Cubs get a 9-3 win over the Indianapolis Indians.

Soccer

The Bahamas Boys U14 soccer team is getting geared up to head to the Dominican Republic to play their latest match in the 2026 Caribbean Football Union Challenge series.

The tournament, which begins next Sunday, will pit teams from across the Caribbean against each other in tough competition to see who will emerge as champs.

The Bahamas will compete out of group C with Anguilla, Guyana, and Montserrat.

Barbados emerged victorious in the challenge last year after beating Bermuda 4-3 in penalty kicks after finishing full-time tied at 0.

Hopefully The Bahamas can make it out of their group into the knockout rounds and make some noise.
