Jazz and Antoan Locked in for Postseason

UNITED STATES – Jazz Chisholm and the New York Yankees played their final pair of games last night, a doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Jazz Man sat out the first game, a 10-2 Yankees’ loss. But he did get in the second, where he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

The Yankees won 6-3 anyway.

Antoan Richardson and the Braves were shut out by the Miami Marlins, 3-0.

Marlins starter Eury Pérez pitched a nine-inning old-school gem, giving up only one hit the whole way.

Neither of these teams are too torn up about the outcomes of these games because they are in the playoffs.

Antoan and the Braves played their finale earlier today, and Jazz and the Yankees will play theirs tomorrow, and then it’s win or go home.

The Yankees are in the Wild Card round, where they’ll rekindle a century-old heated rivalry with the Boston Red Sox in a best-of-three series.

That starts on Tuesday at a time to be determined in the Bronx.

Antoan and the Braves don’t even know who they’re going to play. They have to wait for the Wild Card to shake out before they start their series on Tuesday as well.

Golf

Nine teams hit the links at the Royal Blue Golf Club at Baha Mar for the biannual Bankers’ Tournament.

A team from Global Sun Integration Management, consisting of Stephen Johnson, Larry Glinton, Driskell Rolle and Antoine Roberts, claimed first place in the tournament.

Fidelity’s team of Francis Adderley, Cherrilyn Arthur, Crestwell Gardiner and Jayson Clarke came second.

And Central Bank’s team of Ivanna Gaitor, Gavin Brown, Malik Cleare and Elijah Delancey took the bronze.

In addition, Crestwell Gardiner from Fidelity and Elijah Delancey from Central Bank took home the award for closest to the pin, while Driskell Rolle had the award for the women’s longest drive and Cleare had the award for the men’s longest drive.

The event was highly competitive but, more importantly, these very serious finance professionals got out there and had some fun.
