WNBA
Jonquel Jones and the New York Liberty beat the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night 86-78.

Jones contributed 9 points, and 5 rebounds to the win and she also had a block party, swatting 3 shots.

Breanna Stewart led the Liberty with 25 points and 11 rebounds.

Jewel Lloyd led the Storm with 26. The Liberty will play the Chicago Sky on Friday.

Martial Arts

Christian Deleveaux is devotee of Shinkyokushin Karate, a somewhat brutal martial art that resembles brawling. He came all the way from The Bahamas to Japan to study Shinkyioushin.

But, before he was brawling in Japan, he was a QC Comet.

That’s right before he was a rough and tumble fighter, Deleveaux worked for The Mouse in China.

His move to the far east wasn’t without its up and downs.

While Christian found people in China were less than welcoming, he found Japan pleasantly surprising in unexpected ways.
