Jones Ready for Year Two With Anadolu Efes

EUROPE- Kai Jones is preparing for his second season with Anadolu Efes, after making his European debut with the Turkish club last year.

In the Turkish Super League, Jones played 24 games, averaging 5.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 16.9 minutes per game.

In the EuroLeague, he appeared in 36 games, averaging 3.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 15.5 minutes per game.

With a season of experience in Europe behind him, Jones will look to build on that foundation and take another step forward in his second campaign.

Efes enters the new season with a renewed roster under head coach Pablo Laso, and Jones will look to make his presence felt.

Basketball

Aaron Levarity is making an early statement in preseason, helping Chorale Roanne Basket claim the inaugural Elite Three Tournament title.

Roanne defeated LDLC ASVEL 92-76 Sunday in the third and final game of the competition, with Levarity contributing 19 points, including two-for-two shooting from three-point range, and seven rebounds.

The performance follows a productive first season with Roanne. In 36 games last season, Levarity averaged 8.4 points and 6.4 rebounds, shooting 63 percent from the field and 42 percent from three-point range.

Now entering his second season with the club, Levarity will look to build on those numbers and continue his progression in French basketball.

Roanne now turns its attention to the LNB Super Cup, which begins September 19.

Minor League Baseball

Kristian Robinson has been named the Reno Aces’ Fan Favorite as his team prepares to close out the regular season.

Robinson put together a career-best season at the plate, collecting 109 hits, a new career high, while batting .271 in 402 at-bats.

He also scored 77 runs, hit 14 home runs, drove in 55 runs and stole 22 bases. His on-base percentage was .379, with an .819 OPS.

The Fan Favorite honour was announced by the Aces as part of their 2026 Home Awards.

Reno has four road games remaining in its regular-season schedule.

For Robinson, a former top prospect in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, the award and career-high hit total provide a strong personal finish to the regular season, with the opportunity to add to those numbers as Reno begins its playoff run.
