Junior Junkanoo Parade Set for Tomorrow
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are less than 24 hours away from the return of Junior Juanknoo, and participating students are ready to hit Bay.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are less than 24 hours away from the return of Junior Juanknoo, and participating students are ready to hit Bay.
The parade, which kicks off at 6:30pm Thursday, is making its long awaited return after a hiatus due to COVID. Cultural Affairs Officer Ellery Deveaux says the change from a Christmas parade to the current date better serves students and their handling of schoolwork.
This year the parade will feature 13 schools ranging from preschool to high school.
