Language Barriers Present New Classroom Challenge, B.U.T. Calls for Stronger English Proficiency

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two weeks into the new school year, and some teachers are already raising concerns about language barriers in their classrooms. Some have taken to social media, saying the number of creole-speaking students in certain classrooms is creating additional challenges for teachers and students, particularly when it comes to communication and learning.
