NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Myles Munroe and his wife, Ruth, along with several others died in a private plane crash in Grand Bahama on November 9th in 2014.

Officials said their aircraft struck a crane at a ship yard near the airport.

Munroe and the other passengers were on route to Freeport for a conference. Nearly ten years later,  Munroe’s children – Myles Munroe Jr. and Charisa Munroe-Wilborn are choosing to celebrate the life and legacy of their parents.

We spoke about their growth since that tragic event, which they say still feels like yesterday.

On Friday, November 8, there is a Leadership seminar scheduled. On Saturday, November 9, there will be two events  – a 5K/10K Legacy Walk at Clifford Park and that evening a Legacy Reunion Concert headlined by gospel award winning artist Yolanda Adams.

And both of them believe the celebration will have an impact as it will be a celebration of the family.
