NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS – A new luxury marina resort is now welcoming boaters to New Providence.

Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay has officially opened its doors, marking a major milestone for marine tourism in The Bahamas and the high end development is already drawing attention from local and international boaters.

Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay is positioning itself as a premier destination for boaters seeking both convenience and security.

Phase one of the development is now complete, laying the foundation for what’s planned to become a full-service marina resort.

That first phase includes critical lower infrastructure, 50 wet slips, dry storage capable of holding up to 300 boats, and three fueling stations, which owner, William Pizzorni says was all completed after four years of planning and construction.

The marina is also creating opportunities for Bahamians. With the exception of one team member, the workforce is entirely local, staff are also receiving specialized training aimed at strengthening the marine industry long-term.

He says the feedback has been positive, as for the audience they are attracting.

Looking ahead, phase two of the project will expand the marina even further, adding more wet slips, a restaurant and a street-style shopping mall.

As for the cCEOs final vision for the project, he says to be a safe haven for boats.
