Leslia Miller-Brice, Re-elected to the Seabreeze Seat in Landslide Fashion

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – For A second consecutive term, Leslia Miller-Brice will represent the Seabreaze Constituency, after a landslide victory over the opposing Free National Movement.

It’s a seat many believed she would win without any trouble, and that’s just what happened.

Brice won more than half the vote, but she tells us she’s not taking it for granted.

Brice is one of 9 women that’ll grace the halls of Parliament (a record breaking fete), and says being apart of such a legacy is what makes it worth it.

During the last administration, she served as Head of Independence Secretariat and High Commissioner of The Bahamas to CARICOM.

Now she will serve as Minister of Culture, Arts & Heritage, after being sworn in on Saturday at Government House.
