Licensed Therapist: We’re In A Poor State with Domestic Abuse

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With an uptick in crimes against women and claims of alleged abuse by a sitting member of Parliament, Our News spoke to licensed therapist, Dr. Edrica Richardson who believes the country is in a poor state when it comes to domestic abuse.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With an uptick in crimes against women and claims of alleged abuse by a sitting member of Parliament, Our News spoke to licensed therapist, Dr. Edrica Richardson who believes the country is in a poor state when it comes to domestic abuse.

She also added that every situation is unique. 

Dr. Richardson also shared her disappointment with the investigation process sometimes carried out by police in these matters.

Richardson made an appeal to those who are afraid to speak out.
