NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Long Island Member of Parliament Adrian Gibson accusing North Abaco MP Kirk Cornish of breaching his privilege and recklessly prejudicing his trial with what he calls nasty and uncalled comments in Parliament.

Gibson added that he believes Cornish’s comments which were expunged from the records will prevent him from a fair trial.

Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper immediately interrupted Gibson saying there’s a procedure for breach of privilege, noting it must be put in writing.

Deputy speaker Sylvanus Petty agreed.

Gibson pleaded not guilty to charges of bribery, money laundering, conspiracy, and fraud while he served as executive chairman of the Water and Sewerage corporation but Gibson didn’t back down.
