MINNESOTA – The Liberty fell to the Minnesota Lynx 82-80 in Minnesota last night.

JJ led the team with 21 points and she added 8 rebounds and 2 blocks to the effort while Leonie Fiebich had 19 points and 5 assists.

The game came down to the wire with a questionable foul being called against the Liberty’s Breanna Stewart on Bridget Carlton on an attempted putback with the game tied at 80 apiece.

Carlton sunk her free throws with 2 seconds left, forcing a game 5.

MLB Playoffs

Jazz and the New York Yankees beat Cleveland 8-6 to take a 3-1 lead in their series.

Jazz went 0-4 with 3 strikeouts but he dropped a beautiful sac bunt in the 6th inning right before Giancarlo Stanton hit a monster home run to put the team up 3-2.

The team went on a furious run in the top of the 9th to get the win.

Over in Queens, first base coach Antoan Richardson and the New York Mets got a big 12-6 win over the LA Dodgers to stave off elimination in their series.

Pete Alonzo went yard in that one to help get the win.

They’re down 3-2 in their bid to make the World Series.
