Man Accused of Molesting His Stepdaughter
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 52-year-old man accused of molesting his stepdaughter is behind bars.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 52-year-old man accused of molesting his stepdaughter is behind bars.
Prosecutors say the man whose name has been withheld to conceal the victim’s identity, began molesting the child in December 2021 when she was 11-years-old.
He allegedly continued to molest the now 12-year-old until March 2023.
The man was not required to enter pleas to three counts of attempted unlawful sexual intercourse when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
Bail was denied and the man is next due in court on September 7 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
