Man Arraigned for 2016 Grand Bahama Murder

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – After almost seven years, a man was officially arraigned in Grand Bahama on Wednesday for the death of Tashad Barr.

At the time of his death he was in his early twenties.

Forty-five-year-old Jaret Pinder appeared in the Magistrate’s Court and was represented by attorney Paco Deal.

Barr, who would have been celebrating a birthday on February 22nd, was killed in the wee hours of the morning at the Les Fountain Plaza on East Sunrise Highway in Freeport on August 6th, 2016.

Pinder was not required to enter a plea, bail was denied and he was remanded to prison until May 5th 2023.
