NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 26-year-old man is facing charges after authorities say he tried to have sex with girls, ages seven and nine.

Ray Sebastian Charles stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans facing two counts of attempted unlawful sexual intercourse.

He allegedly attempted to rape the nine-year-old on March 12 and the seven-year-old on March 18.

Bail was denied and Charles is due in court on June 6 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
