Man Charged with Shooting Girlfriend and Dumping Body in Canal
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is being held without bail at the Bahamas Department of Corrections after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is being held without bail at the Bahamas Department of Corrections after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend.
Prosecutors allege that 34-year-old Juliano Dorsette is responsible for the April 19th murder of 42-year-old Yinka Strachan.
Authorities fished her bullet-riddled body from the South Beach Canal after swimmers found her body.
Dorsette did not have to plead to the murder charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
Dorsette is next expected in court on August 23.
