Man Dies On Junkanoo Beach

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A tourist man believed to be in his late 40s to early 50s died on Junkanoo Beach. Police believe the man had medical complications.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A tourist man believed to be in his late 40s to early 50s died on Junkanoo Beach Sunday afternoon.

Police Press Liaison Officer Chrislyn Skippings told Our News that police believe the man had medical complications.

A bystander, who wished to remain anonymous, told Our News that she called 911 just before 1pm after the man, who was with his family, started showing signs of distress.

When Our News arrived on the scene just after 2:30 pm, crime scene investigators were processing the scene while morticians were preparing to remove his body from the beach.

Chief Superintendent Skippings says foul play is not suspected.
